Dan – I read Bad Guys kind of breathlessly but was caught short by the abrupt ending. I thought this was a short story but maybe this is a first chapter? “Actually” is sharp and funny. “Missing Lehigh” is quite moving. My sister sent me this quote from Albert Schweitzer in her Christmas card: “There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats.” I say amen to that.
